The Customer needs to provide their contact details, the company’s name and address, and VAT registration number, or Tax ID in specific countries.

We offer submission of eBookings by Contract as well as Spot price, Premium, and Basic.

 

The Spot Premium price includes various advantages, such as booking confirmation within 30 minutes 24/7, guaranteed loading, space and equipment, and compensation in case we do not meet our commitment for space, equipment, or load as stated in the terms and conditions.

As part of our loading guarantee commitment, we provide the containers and a guaranteed slot for a period of three (3) days before or after the estimated time of departure (ETD). This is indicated in your booking confirmation, provided that the Customer complies with the conditions stated in the Terms and Conditions.

For bookings which include inland transportation, the guarantee depends on timely loading at the first ocean port.

If we are unable to comply with the booking confirmation details, provided that the non-compliance is not on account of any fault of the Customer, the option to apply for a compensation fee is available according to the terms and conditions.

A penalty will be applied in cases of a booking modification/amendment (for any reason), booking cancellation (in whole or in part) or on account of a ‘no-show’ by the Customer. 

A booking amendment is considered a change to transport plan such as (without limitation): a change of destination, vessel and voyage, container type, and/or number of booked containers, after the Spot Premium booking request has been submitted to the Carrier.

Assuming you were approved to register, your country’s origins are available for bookings by contract.
For Spot bookings the port locations are available as well as certain rail ramp locations in the US and Canada.

Yes. A myZIM booking includes a Commodity Code / Description lookup to easily help you find the required commodities for error-free submission.

Yes. Agreed credit terms will apply to your orders through myZIM.

Once you place an order, you should receive the booking confirmation for Spot Basic and Contract bookings within 1 hour or less, during standard working days and hours of the local agency.

For Spot Premium bookings you will receive the booking confirmation within 30 minutes, 24/7.

The confirmation will include your booking number and equipment pick-up locations. We will ensure that the goods are shipped at the port of loading.

Booking amendments, including adding or removing the number of containers, adding or removing container types, change of destination are handled via My Shipments in the Export section on myZIM.

Confirmed Spot Premium bookings cannot be amended since we are reserving your slot(s) based on the details provided. This space is limited and adding more containers is not always possible.

Yes, there is a section for Remarks.

This should be handled by sending an email to the Booking Office. You will receive a written Booking Cancellation form via email.

You can always communicate with one of our Customer Service representatives using the live chat button.

Yes, you can follow the journey of your shipment and key events are presented in My Shipments in the Export section on myZIM.

You can also be notified regarding the progress via email notifications.

Yes. You may copy a complete booking or only specific information by selecting copy in one of your previous bookings in My Shipments in the Export section.

To view the bookings, all relevant individuals must be added with their email addresses in the Booking Party Contact. Alternatively, your company's administrator can modify the individual user settings to allow visibility of All transactions.
